An Indian tried to move marijuana across belarusian-polish border
On June 16th, at customs checkpoint "Brest" a green substance of plant origin has been detected in two places of the vehicle during the customs check of "Warsaw-Minsk" shuttle with a help of the sniffer dog of Brest customs canine team.
According to opinion of the expert from Brest regional Office of State Committee of forensic examinations it is a dangerous narcotic substance marijuana.
During a set of events it was found that a 38-year old Indian has tried to import marijuana to the territory of Eurasian Economic union.
Brest customs has launched a criminal case according to part 1 of article 328-1 Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus. The sanction of the artice involves deprivation of liberty for a period from three to seven years with or without a fine.
